The France-based company, Point S has finally branched out to Asia. Additionally, Malaysia is the first country in the ASEAN region to own Point S first flagship store located in SS2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. After expansion to America, Africa, and to 34 countries worldwide, Malaysia is the first in Asia to join this independent tyre dealer.

After years of planning, the establishment of Point S in Malaysia will fill the gaps surrounding the tyre retreading industry and we want this brand to be the service centre for our customers to get the right advice for their transportation needs.

With Point S having a record of selling 16 million tyres annually and achieving up to USD 3 billion sales, we are confident that Point S in Malaysia will be well received by the Malaysians. We are also planning to ramp up the game in this industry not only for our own benefit but more importantly for the dealers to excel together in this business.

The decision to join forces was an obvious choice for GIIB Group because there are many things that we could learn from this partnership; one of which is to create a dedicated company to manage and develop Point S network.

“We look forward to pushing this fury pace to build Malaysia’s largest independent tyre retailing chain.”

The grand opening of the first Point S in Malaysia was launched by Frederic La Planche, the Ambassador of France. At this point in time, Point S Malaysia currently has 3 branded outlets in Malaysia – located in SS2, SS15, and Kayu Ara. We are now planning for an outlet in East Malaysia, and expect to have at least 15 branded locations in Malaysia by the end of 2018.

Hopefully, Malaysia will be part of the 3,600 retailing point of sales. We are inviting prospective dealers out there who would like to transform their traditional retail business into a professionally-run business especially when passing it on to the 2nd generation. We look forward to pushing this fury pace to build Malaysia’s largest independent tyre retailing chain.
